Slow Disk Speed

Topic: The disk speed seems very slow and can not load the disk.

Your DVD or CD drive is not quick enough to load the disk image before it times out. (Remember CDs and DVDs store lots of data!)

This is rare but it does occur from time to time on Dell machines and older or slower CD and DVD drives. Try the software on a different computer. You may have to upgrade your disk drive.

  Disk Error Problems

Topic: You receive a disk error when trying to access a disk.

Most disk error problems are due to one of the following:

Dirty Drive - Clean if neccessary.
Bad Drive - Replace if neccessary.
DVD in a CD Drive - Upgrade drive.
Scratched Disk - There are disk repair kits available at most retail outlets to fix minor scratches.
Dirty Disk - There are disk cleaning kits available at most retail outlets to clean dirty disks.
Damaged Disk - Contact DMC Chambers & Associates for a replacement disk.

To determine which of the above is causing your problem we suggest:

1) Check the disk. On the data side of the disk (not the printed side) are there any indications or signs of blister like bubbles? Scratches? or Dirt?
2) If possible, try the disk in a different drive or computer.

If you find that the disk is bad, please contact us for a replacement disk.
